CPR and First Aid (no AED)

  Adult CPR with First Aid Basics (Standard First Aid)
Identify how to respond to emergency situations by checking to see if it is safe to intervene. Identify how to reduce the risk of heart attack. Recognize the signals of a heart attack and provide care to reduce the chance of cardiac arrest. Learn how to care for an adult who stops breathing. Learn how to care for an adult who is choking. Learn how to give CPR to an adult whose heart has stopped beating. Learn how to control bleeding. Learn how to care for nonlife-threatening emergencies such as a strain, sprain, or fracture. Identify how to use your community's emergency medical services (EMS) system effectively.

  Community First Aid and Safety (Adult, Infant, Child CPR and First Aid)
This comprehensive course teaches participants to recognize and care for choking, cardiac problems, sudden illness, and injuries in infants, children and adults. (9.5 HRS)

  First Aid with Infant and Child CPR
Learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, sudden illness, choking, bleeding, fractures and other first aid emergencies with infants and children under the age of 12 years old. Course meets Delaware/Maryland childcare licensing requirements and meets OSHA requirements for First Aid. (8 HRS)
