Learn to recognize the signals of an emergency in your pet. Learn how to care for choking, bleeding, broken bones, heat and cold related emergencies and how to safely approach, and move, an injured pet. Learn to recognize breathing related emergencies and practice CPR and other skills on a realistic, life-size, pet manikin.

The ideal program for the person who wants to learn lifesaving skills but does not need certification. Learn to care for: conscious choking, breathing emergencies, shock, bleeding, burns, allergic reactions, bites and stings. First Aid and Preparedness supports Together We Prepare, a nationwide Red Cross initiative, to make families, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods safer.
