Learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims ages 8 to adult. Includes Adult CPR, basic precautions for preventing disease transmission and emergency care for conscious choking, bleeding, splinting and other first aid emergencies. Teaches the basics of Automated External Defibrillation and includes information about precautions to take when using an AED, what defibrillation is, how it works and troubleshooting for special situations. Meets OSHA requirements for First Aid. (7 HRS)
